The Dark Prophecy

Rick Riordan · 2017 · 432 pages

Apollo and Meg reach a city run by an emperor who should have stayed dead. The prophecy is a riddle, the safe house is not safe, and the next line of the poem is worse.

Why we picked it

Keeps the jokes, raises the stakes. Fine for the same readers as the first Apollo book.

Something to think about

Which old story would be dangerous if someone tried to live it for real?
